HEAR MY PRAYER

Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.

The function of prayer is not to influence God but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.

A prayer is a cry for help only heard by oneself, and the entity one is praying to. No matter how loud or desperate the prayer is, it is an invisible outreach for a longing or needs to be answered.

What do prayers do?

Are they simply an outlet for people to reach out with problems too shameful for common ears?
